Handheld started with trying to find a special and unique gift for a wedding, newborn, birthday, anniversary or friendship. I couldn't find the perfect gift, so I made one.
When I started pairing hand-drawn illustrations with names, dates and places that mattered to the people I was gifting them to, I knew this was something others might love as well. That's how Handheld began.

Every flower in the Handheld collection was hand-drawn by Mel, the designer and founder behind the brand. As a professional graphic designer, she created both the illustrations and the layout of each print from scratch. Nothing here is stock art or generated. These are original drawings made to be gifted.
Your print is produced by our printing partner, Gelato, a global print-on-demand network with over 140 production partners across 32 countries. That means your order is printed as close to you as possible — reducing delivery times, shipping costs, and carbon emissions compared to centralised fulfilment. Over 90% of orders are produced and delivered within 5 days.
For most countries, standard delivery takes 7–10 business days. Estimated timeframes are shown at checkout based on your location.
We currently ship to the US, Australia, UK and Europe, with delivery times ranging from 7–10 business days depending on your location and the shipping method selected. Yes. Once your order is dispatched you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow your print every step of the way.
On the product page, choose your flower options (birth month, state flowers), then enter your personalised text — a name, date, or message — in the fields provided. The first image provides a live preview that updates as you type so you can check everything looks right before adding to cart.
Yes. Handheld uses Shopify Payments, which is PCI DSS compliant and includes automatic SSL certificates, 3D Secure checkouts, and built-in fraud analysis tools. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Shop Pay.
As each item is made to your unique specifications and personalised for you, we cannot accept returns or cancellations due to a change of mind. This is in accordance with the exception for personalised goods under applicable consumer law.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrectly produced, or does not match your approved personalisation, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographs and we'll arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
